Yin Yoga and Sound Healing Immersion

Join Vic for a soothing, healing and restorative afternoon of Yin Yoga and Sound Healing.

This workshop combines the deeply nourishing practice of yin yoga with the therapeutic benefits of sound healing to create an afternoon of replenishment, relaxation and release.

Autumn is a time of letting go and slowing down, experience the gentle and accessible practices of Autumnal themed yin yoga to release tension in mind and body and enhances the healthy flow of energy throughout the body.

 Experience the soothing and calming practice of yin yoga, this gentle and accessible practices releases tension in mind and body and enhances the healthy flow of energy throughout the body.

 Rest in a deep healing state of relaxation as your senses and soul are bathed in the sounds of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, drum, gong and chimes.

 This workshop is accessible to those who don’t have a yoga practice and yoga props will be used throughout. Spaces are limited to ensure a quality healing experience.

 

Roll, Reset and Relax Immersion

Saturday 10th February 2024  3pm- 5pm $45

Join Hilary for this deeply relaxing 2 hour workshop.
We will start with Myofascial release to target areas and trigger points where we tend to hold tension, followed by a gentle flow and finishing with a nourishing Restorative session, to allow your nervous system to rebalance.
Short guided meditations will be incorporated throughout for a complete mind and body stress release experience.
No experience necessary.

 

Resolve to Evolve in 2024 Immersion

Infuse your New Year’s Eve with some yoga!
Join Rebecca for this inspiring session at the studio. Set some powerful positive intentions for 2024 and reinforce these Sankalpas with a practice that incorporates a 1-hour flow, meditation, and a Yoga Nidra to finish. Suitable for all levels.
After our yoga session, you are welcome to stay at the studio for some  kombucha!

Alignment Workshop

 Would you like to learn more about alignment in your yoga practice?

Would you like a better feel for your own practice and how to adjust your poses to prevent injury and for greater ease in your practice?

Do you want to build your confidence and build your strength and flexibility in your practice?

If you are interested in diving deeper into alignment and gain a better understanding of how alignment can support your practice, join Maria as we workshop the most common forms in your yoga practice, misalignment issues and questions that come up in your yoga practice.

This will be an amazing way to fine tune your practice, build awareness, improve your confidence and strengthen your practice.

This is a 2 hour interactive afternoon to problem solve together and explore key concepts of alignment in yoga.

 

 

Restorative by Candlelight Event

Join Ros for this special candlelit restorative yoga class.
This class is designed to allow you to embrace the stillness of the solstice and to turn your attention inwards in a nurturing way.
Restorative yoga is the practice of entering yoga poses using our props (bolsters, blocks, straps and blanket) to support the body, to promote renewal and relaxation of the body and mind. The poses are designed to release deeply held tensions and trigger relaxation, thereby strengthening your immune system and calming the mind.
This class is accessible to all.

 

 

Ladder Flow Immersion

Saturday 20th November 2022  2pm- 4pm $45

What is a ladder flow? Ladder flows are different to your regular Vinyasa class because of their sequencing. They begin with two or three postures and then an additional posture is added each round and always linked by a Vinyasa or sun salutation. Ladder flows can be intense on both the body and the mind, but can be wonderfully beneficial when you find your breath, rhythm and flow. Due to their repetition, it gives students a chance to refine postures, breath and transitions.

This intensive will begin with some grounding, stretching and warming, then move to approximately 60 minutes of ladder flow, and ending with a cool down and guided Yoga Nidra.

If you are interested in challenging yourself or are keen to try something new, join Gina for this intensive. All levels are welcome.

 

Women’s Circle

Friday 4th November 2022  6.30pm- 8.30pm $55

Come and join Sary in our wonderful women’s circle. In this 2 hours space there will be meditation, breathwork, movement and journaling.

Women’s circles are an ancient practice where women are able to connect to one another and the divine feminine. There is evidence of spiritual ritual gatherings occurring possibly as early as 300,000 years ago. Back when we lived in Tribes or Communities women had these Circles to connect through ritual, story-telling, dance and music. In ancient times women shared stories around the fire, and, in fact, they still do in many indigenous tribes around the world.
These meetings provide meaning and direction in life. Gathering in circle is a vital element in human life. Come and discover its power for your healing, connection to self, sisterhood and enriching communications.

Please feel free to bring a crystal or an cherished item to add to the altar we will hold in the centre of our circle.

What to bring: something to journal with, comfortable clothing and crystal or treasured item to add to the centre of the circle.

 

 

Sound Healing Immersion

Saturday 13th August 2022  3pm- 4.15pm $55

Allow Stephanie, a classically trained opera singer and sound healer, to guide you into a deeply relaxing and meditative experience using the healing power of sound.
During this celestial Sound Healing you will be immersed in a live and intuitive soundscape that will allow tension and stress to release from your body. Using her voice, and a range of healing instruments, Stephanie will help you switch off and find a meditative state where you can connect with your inner wisdom.
Props are provided, but please feel welcome to bring a pillow or anything that allows you to feel extra cosy.

Yoga Wheel with Sary

The yoga wheel has been a staple in my yoga practice for many years now and has helped me progress and strengthen.

Come and join me where I will gift you, your own fabulous yoga wheel!  And together we will explore the many fun ways to open the chest, shoulders, back, and hip-flexors.  A wonderful prop that I will teach you how to use daily and can assist with relieving back pain and creating greater strength and flexibility.

The yoga wheel also helps you to develop balance, strength, and flexibility and make more advanced poses accessible. The yoga wheel is used to help beginners and advanced yoga practitioners achieve back-bends and loosen tight muscles.

Cost: $80 including your amazing yoga wheel

Roll & Release Workshop

Experience the magic of using myofascial release therapy balls to target common trigger points in the body.
 
Join Hilary for this 1.5hr workshop where you will be guided on a journey to release tension in the connective tissues and fascia, restoring motion, enhancing tissue strength, promoting circulation, increase energy and so much more.
 
This is perfect for anyone who carries tension in the body, athletes, have poor posture, work in desk-bound jobs, stressed and for those who are recovering from injury.
This is open to everyone. No previous Yoga experience is necessary. All equipment provided.

 

 

Sacred Sounds Mantra Workshop

Are you curious about mantras and chanting?

Do you want to learn how to chant and plant the seed to nourish and nurture mind, body and essence to transport beyond your thoughts.

A ‘mantra’ a sacred utterance, sound, a word, a group of words that can be pure and create a heart connection. A ‘mantra’ a powerful sound or vibration, which when planted like a seed, blossoms.

The word mantra derives from ‘manas’ the mind and ‘tra’ vehicle to transport. So, literally it is a ‘mind-vehicle’ or a way to transport us beyond our thoughts, to varying states. As you plant the seeds of the mantra you are able to nourish and nurture yourself: – mind, body and essence.

Join Maria in finding a space to sit in a circle, to learn with an open heart and a humble mind, to chant accompanied by her traditional harmonium.

Let us sit in Sangha (संघ), in community, where we can find the connection with our fellow companions where practice and devotion meet, a gathering to share and experience chanting and mantra. A space to explore the mantras that nourish not only mind, body and essence, to also regulate our vagus nerve in order to attune to our nervous system.

Myofascial Release and Yoga Nidra Immersion

Join Sary in this 2 hour blissful workshop were we will be using props to explore Myofascial release therapy.
Approaching this practice as you would a yin yoga practice, this is an opportunity to slow down, and be gentle with yourself.
You are in control of the pace and the pressure. Myofascial release treats muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood circulation and lymphatic circulation, as well as stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.
Finishing the practice with a relaxing yoga nidra, to put your body into a “yogic sleep, allowing for effortless relaxation. Drawing your attention inwards into a state of harmonious, restful being where we can be healed, restored and awakened to our deepest all knowing and welcoming self. A sublime practice!

 

 

Winter Solstice Restorative – Special Class

 Winter solstice occurs between June 20th and 22nd in the Southern hemisphere. During this period, darkness triumphs over light. We have the shortest daylight of the calendar year. It is a time to turn inwards and surrender to the stillness around us, mirroring the dormant winter Earth. It is also a time to trust the new light emerging within and around us, with the knowledge that the light and life of Spring will stir.

Sound Healing Immersion with Katie Underwood

A rejuvenating sound immersion featuring a live soundscape of Handpan, Tibetan bowls, koshi chimes, native drums & live vocals & mantras to guide you into a state of deep relaxation and peace. Learn to Meditate – 4 Week Course

On this four-week course you will learn meditation practices that will create a calmer and healthier you.
You will be provided with an overview of the origins of meditation from a yogic perspective, the benefits to you, guidance on how to meditate and how to practically incorporate meditation into your daily life.

Meditation is a powerful tool to manage stress and to help maintain a healthy balance in the body and mind. By learning and practicing simple meditation and yogic breathing techniques the mind becomes more peaceful and healthy, creating a more balanced state of being.
Ros is qualified at the Advanced 500 Hour level and studied meditation from a yogic perspective in her training. She has had a deep personal meditation practice since 2005 and has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2014. Ros has three children and juggled a senior legal role with family life for a number of years. She believes that her meditation practice provided her with the resilience to face life’s challenges off the mat.

 

 

Meditation workshop: No Mud, No Lotus – A Journey into the Heart Immersion

heart is not about feeling loving or happy all the time, an open heart feels everything, including anger, sadness and pain.
Through asana, pranayama, mantra, poetry, storytelling and meditation we will celebrate all of the different aspects of ourselves. Our light and dark, our successes and failures, and all the different thoughts, feelings and emotions that make up this human experience.
The lotus flower is one of the most elegant illustrations of the meshing of our human and Divine natures. Without the mud, there is no lotus.

Prana is the vital life force, or energy that permeates through our entire bodies and all living things. One of the many benefits of Yoga is that it increases our Prana, but it’s about the quality we bring to our practice.

The workshop will include specific techniques designed to release stuck energy and enhance the flow of vital life force. We will be also be working through a strong therapeutic and mindful vinyasa flow practice, exploring the balance of push and yield that’s necessary to increase our energy rather than deplete it. The afternoon will finish off with a Yoga Nidra, which is a systematic method of complete relaxation.

This practice is designed to bring about a state of rejuvenation that is greatly needed in our busy lives, leaving us feeling a little lighter and brighter. All levels of yoga experience welcome.

 

 

Inversions & Arm Balances Yoga Workshop

Kombucha Brewing Workshop

Join Hilary for a fun and informative workshop that will teach you everything you need to know about how to brew your own Kombucha.
You will have the opportunity to try fresh Kombucha as well as flavoured (2nd fermentation).

Balance Your Chakras Yoga and Meditation Workshop

Sunday 26th May   1 – 3pm $45

In this workshop Vic will be guiding you to work with the Chakras, the energy systems within the body. The 7 chakras can be viewed as an inward map that helps us understand ourselves better and can direct us to improved wellbeing, greater awareness and living more fully.

Each chakra relates to specific organs of the body, emotional states and traits and mental attitudes. During this 2 hour Chakra workshop we will aim to revitalize and balance our 7 main energy centres through yogic practices such as:

– Asanas (yoga postures)

– Breathing techniques

– Mudras (hand gestures)

– Chanting

– Meditation

This workshop is open to all levels of yogis.

Vic has a particular interest in the energy systems of the body and incorporates energy healing practices into her yoga classes. Through her work as a Reiki healer she has seen time and time again how working to balance the energy systems of body can have a profound effect on our mental, physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
